Cladding is going up on Shaganappi! Wrapping up the exterior is a significant milestone for NAI Advent's inner SW Calgary project. They are aiming to bring these these 99-units to market later this year!
The three cladding colours start to reveal how the street-facing façade is organized with a tiered series of masses. The rectangular ‘pixels’ puncture the massing to carve outdoor amenity spaces within the façade while simultaneously facilitating porosity for natural lighting and views.
Soon, the curtain walls will be installed at the grand two-story entry. This dramatic entry was designed to create a sense of arrival for residents and visitors, providing a visual connection to the common amenity spaces beyond. Advent envisioned this building as a unique place to live, and this entry is one of the many architectural features we designed to achieve that feeling.
