Crestmont Commercial

This retail and personal services building is a part of Arrive Crestmont, a residential and commercial project by Partners on the west edge of Calgary in the community of Crestmont.

In the central space between this building and the adjacent daycare we have designed a public plaza. This is the perfect community meeting place, and is easily accessible to residents within this project and from the surrounding community.

We have provided waste and recycling services using semi-underground Molok containers. Unlike dumpsters, trolleys or bins, these units are clean, attractive and do not require an enclosure. They also hold far more waste than they appear to as the bag inside goes deep underground. There are three containers to accommodate waste, recycling and compost.

Taking the cue from precedent in Crestmont, the buildings in Arrive Crestmont range in style from traditional Craftsman for the residential buildings to Modern for this building. The cladding is a combination of vertical siding from Westform, horizontal siding from Allura, and panel from Alpolic.
