This proposed project is a two storey commercial building on the Marda Loop Main Street in the established community of South Calgary. It replaces a single-storey building that burned down on the southeast corner of 33rd Avenue and 21st Street.
Because of the corner site, and our client’s interest in clocks, we have proposed a horizontal clock tower. Feature lighting along the top and bottom of the principal facades will mark the time of day, with the corner of the building representing noon. There are 12 ticks on the 33rd Avenue facade for the morning, and 12 ticks on the 21 Street facade for the evening.
This project has been submitted for DP approval. Leasing enquires may be made to email@example.com.
